Rooster was created for Four Seasons Brewing Company and lives on the label for their red ale. When I lived in Connecticut, I acquired a rooster from the county fair and named him Herald. He lived with nineteen ladies and I loved hearing him each morning. They truly are wonderful alarm clocks. My son's great-grandmother (Granny) loved roosters! I think of them each time I see or hear a rooster. I painted this image with deep reds, pen, ink, and oil pastel for accents.
