Tandem (initially titled, A Beautiful Bike Ride) was created in 2006 for a bicycle-themed auction called Revelocity, The Bicycle Ball. This fundraiser was for the legal defense of cyclists arrested in the NYPD dispute with Critical Mass rides. Over 800 people attended this successful event in New York City on May 20th, 2006. Although the original art was auctioned off to a private collector that evening, Tandem lives on in this humorously sexually suggestive open-edition print and on Four Seasons Brewing Companies India Pale Ale. Tandem proves that a bit of humor can go a long way!
